Description:

The Appleton TB68 2″ Conduit Body is a robust and versatile Form 8 conduit outlet body designed for use in commercial, industrial, and hazardous or wet locations. Measuring 12.38 inches in length and 4.81 inches in height, this conduit body features three 2-inch threaded hubs in a tee configuration, with a back access opening for easy installation and maintenance. Constructed from durable Grayloy-Iron with a triple-coat finish consisting of zinc electroplating, chromate, and epoxy powder coating in gray, the TB68 is UL 514A/B and CSA C22.2 approved, and complies with NEC, CEC, and NEMA FB-1 standards. With a capacity of 105 cubic inches, this conduit body can accommodate up to (3) 4/0 AWG or (3) 3/0 AWG wires. The TB68 is equipped with a neoprene gasket and stainless steel cover screws for a secure and weather-tight seal, making it suitable for Class I Division 2 hazardous locations. This conduit body serves multiple purposes, including acting as a pulling fitting, making bends in conduit systems, providing openings for splicing, connecting and changing the direction of conduit runs, allowing connections for branch runs, and permitting access to conductors.
