BAC ICE CHILLER Thermal Storage Unit. Also known as an Ice Bank. Model: TSU-290. S/N: 88600678P. Capacity: 22,000 (lbs ice per 12 hour build). Full storage build time: 12 hours using 22.16 TR at 19F (R-717 ammonia). Designed to shift energy use to reduce operating costs, while providing a constant 34F water supply for process cooling applications as well as HVAC. In the Ice Build operating mode, ice is built by circulating glycol or refrigerant through the unit’s coils (38-64mm thick). In Ice Only Cooling operating mode, the compressor unit is off and water is circulated though the iced tubes. Chilling with compressor on or solely with the compressor are also available operating modes. Coils are housed in an insulated, sealed box. Galvanized steel coil rating 375 PSIG.
