MAWP (product tube): 400 psi at 400° F. For use with liquid media. (1) Reliance and (2) no brand name electric motors, 10 hp, 1750 rpm, 575 V. Ratio: 4.5:1. Final rpm: 388. The Thermutator is used to heat or cool products that cannot be continuously processed by other type of heat exchangers. Products that would be used with this application: heat sensitive, film forming, highly viscous, have a particle size or delicacy that cannot be accommodated by other heat exchangers.
