Rotor is constructed of stainless steel and is of a non-staggered design. Scrapers 24 in. L. Upper and lower ports: 3 in. Upper and lower head design: Tangential. Drive type: belt driven-7-1/2 hp. Designed to be used with flooded refrigerant (i.e. Freon or ammonia), with working temperature ranges of: – 30°F to + 300°F and a maximum working pressure of: 300 psig (20 bar) product side and 250 psig (17 bar) media side, these Contherm scraped-surface heat exchangers are specifically configured to provide efficient and gentle treatment of varieties of shear-sensitive products or particulates. With the options of being mounted horizontally or vertically, it is ideal for heating or cooling particulate, sticky, viscous and crystallizing / phase-change processes.
