The P-1, Michael Good planishing hammer, was made using the master metalsmith’s exact specifications. Designed for anticlastic raising, this hammer is unique among other planishing hammers in that the head is quite narrow allowing you a better view of your work and the larger faces are designed for work on larger pieces. Like all Fretz hammers, these heads are cast 420 stainless steel and tool hardened to 50 HRC. The handles are made from oiled hardwood shaped and weighted to balance the head perfectly.
