Hoppmann FT50-2 Centrifugal Feeder

1999 Hoppmann Centrifugal Feeder. Model: FT50-2. S/N: 37391b. Previously used to feed 1.7 oz. and 2.7 oz. deodorant screw caps. Hoppmann’s FT-50 rigid disc centrifugal feeder is specifically designed to feed and orient large parts. This feeder incorporates a patented combined disc and rim drive system. This assures tight bowl/disc gap operating tolerances. The delivery rates vary from moderate to high speeds depending on part characteristics. Materials of construction: aluminum bowl with Teflon hardcoat anodized finish, FDA approved heavy gauge ABS plastic center disc, 304 stainless steel construction, epoxy powder coated finish, single motor drive system, metric components. (2) Baldor DC Motors, 0.75 hp, 1750 rpm, 90 V, 7.6 amps. Boston Gear Speed Reducer, 40 ratio, 43.75 rpm (final). Bonfiglioli Speed Reducer, 100 ratio, 17.5 rpm (final). Conveyor infeed height: 77 in.
