As one of only four USDA approved units ever made in this size, this specialized unit was initially designed for lactose dewatering from permeated whey, but can also be used to separate product crystals from solutions or ice crystals from near-freezing solutions. Applications include the processing of a wide range of crystalline, granular, and fibrous products.
