Using ammonia R-717 it is capable of producing 598 tons at 639 bhp with a 20ºF suction temperature, 95ºF condensing temperature, 10ºF liquid subcooling and 10ºF suction superheat, or originally set up to provide 47.4 tons when absorbing 127.7 bhp with R-717 at 100 % load. This rating is based upon -75.0°F SST and+5.0°F SIT with 10.0 °F of non-useful suction superheat and 0.0 °F of subcooling in the condenser.
